Ketton Stone Ltd’s typical workload is unique within the industry of having large volumes of highly complex works that, by their nature and content, demand that they are achieved to the highest of standards. It is within this atmosphere, that Ketton Stone Ltd’s masons rise to the challenges.
This has led the company’s diversity into achieving major new challenges and setting standards within the industry. Namely the Queens Building, Emanuel College, Cambridge, which was the first post-tensioned stone building to be constructed and the practise and principles developed through Ketton Stone Ltd produced the paper of “post tensioned, pre stressed stone construction” for the institute of structural engineers presented by Geoff Werran of Buro Happold.
